Terrific value and price for such a delicious wine! Full-bodied but not heavy with luscious and mouth-watering aromas and flavours of dark fruit and some dark chocolate.

Carmenère food pairings: thick steaks, veal medallions in a red wine sauce.

Reviews and Ratings

This is a blockbuster Carmenère that is sure to turn heads! Deep purple in colour with a layered nose featuring maple bacon, blackberry, black cherry, coffee bean, violets and leather. It’s dry, full bodied, ripe and generous with loads of black fruit, mocha, peppery spice and smoked meat flavours balanced by plush tannins and fresh acidity. There’s vanilla and spices on the medium-long finish. Excellent! Drink over the next eight years. Source: Vintages Wine Catalogue.
