The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes for this full-bodied wine produced by Concha Y Toro, were sourced from the winery's estate Las Terrazas Block, Pirque Vineyard. On the palate there are flavours of blackberry jam and preserves, firm tannins and a sweet dark fruit finish. The vines were planted in 2003 in nutrient-poor alluvial, gravel and loam soils at 630-685 metres above sea level near the south bank of the Maipo River. Pair with roast beef.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: grilled New York strip loin, hard cheese, braised pork shanks, veal chops.

Reviews and Ratings

Produced by Concha Y Toro, the Cabernet Sauvignon wine grapes for this full-bodied wine were sourced from the winery's estate Las Terrazas Block, in the Pirque Vineyard. Deep ruby deep in the glass, on the nose is dark plum and bell pepper. In the palate more dark berry, plum fruit with cherry, dark chocolate, vanilla flavours finishing spicy and smoky. Enjoy now and for the next five years. The Cabernet Sauvignon vines were planted in 2003 in nutrient-poor alluvial, gravel and loam soils at 630-685 metres above sea level near the south bank of the Maipo River. Pair with roast beef. - Community Wine Reviews
