Reviews and Ratings

Tania Thomas - CSW, WSET ADV rated this wine as 88/100 with the following review:

At the end of the 19th century Don Melchor de Concha y Toro successfully discouraged theft of his wines by spreading a rumor that his deep, dark cellars were haunted by the devil and the legend stuck to this day.
This delicious Cabernet Sauvignon comes from Concha y Toro vineyards planted on the riverbanks of Maipo River in Chilean Central Valley. Full-bodied, dry and fruit-forward, it delivers aromas and flavours of cassis, ripe black cherries and plums with a whiff of mocha. The texture is plush and velvety with smooth tannins. Closes in a long, lingering, vanilla-toned finish. Perfect match for grilled meats, mature cheeses and dark chocolate desserts.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
