Smooth and mouth-watering with vibrant acidity and tart cherry aromas and flavours. Terrific wine for food because it’s so juicy. Not complex but hey what do you want for $15.95?

Côte de Brouilly is considered superior to Brouilly as vineyards are on the slopes of hills rather than on the flat, producing riper, concentrated fruit and a more robust wine. It’s my pick of this litter and the price is right. Aromas of spice and dark berry fruit segue a palate-coating wash of rich succulent mulberry and dark bramble berry flavour mingling with ripe supple tannin. Well balanced with good texture and body, the mid-length finish is racy and mouth-watering with juicy pie cherry and blood plum predominant. Score: 4 (out of 5) Source: Vic Harradine, winecurrent.com

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
