Cloudsley's End Of The Road Vineyard Pinot Noir from Twenty Mile Bench, Niagara Escarpment is an elegant, medium-bodied red wine offering notes of morello cherry, wild strawberry, iris and toasted hazelnut. This dry, single-vineyard wine displays velvety texture and refined structure that will continue to develop over the next four years. Serve it slightly below room temperature with roasted turkey as the wine's fresh finish complements the herb-seasoned poultry, or pair it with grilled salmon where the wine's silky character balances the rich fish. Winemaker Adam Pennachetti sources fruit from Tom and Loring Wiley's vineyard planted in 2007, aging the wine eighteen months in French oak barrels with twenty-three percent new wood to add layers of spice while preserving the wine's pure fruit expression. This vintage shows less robust New World personality and more Old World grace than previous years, with integrated savory notes and lifted character. This juicy, smooth Pinot Noir represents outstanding quality and will cellar beautifully through 2030.

Pinot Noir food pairings: roasted turkey, grilled chicken, grilled salmon.
