Natalie's Score: 92/100

Seductive aromas of ripe black plums, blackberry, cassis, smoke and dark spice. A lovely dark garnet hue with violet tints in the glass. A blockbuster Argentine red wine with grapes sourced from seven premium vineyards, thus "Siete." The much-respected consulting winemaker Michel Rolland manages the winery and oversees production. Polished tannins with superb balance. Judicious and subtle integration of oak. Finishes with some eucalyptus aromas, and mocha hints. Pair with grilled meats.

Food pairings: grilled lamb chops, liver and onions, pork sausages and grilled veggies.

Reviews and Ratings

Produced by Michel Rolland, Clos de los Siete 2014 is a sensual Malbec with some Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot in the mix. This a blockbuster red with grapes sourced from seven premium vineyards, thus "Siete." On the nose and palate, there are ripe black plums, blackberry, cassis, smoke and dark spice. Enjoy now and for the next five years. - Community Wine Reviews
