Reviews and Ratings

Blaine rated this wine as 94/100 with the following review:

Had this wine in CA at Balboa Island. Full body, delicious aftertaste
Mai rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

Nice peppery taste
The vines that produce the grapes for this bold wine were planted in the Lodi and Oakley area by Italian and Portuguese settlers 80 to 100 years ago. These gnarled vines are dry farmed, producing super ripe, concentrated grapes. Bitter stems are removed and the finished wine rests in American oak barrels for six months. The wine displays a deep crimson color and bright raspberry aromas. Zingy raspberry liqueur flavors saturate the palate, finishing with a touch of tobacco. Serve with grilled burgers. There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
