Reviews and Ratings

Marco Giovanetti rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

On the nose, aromas that remind me of dry redcurrants with ripe cassis, tobacco, balsamic notes, mocha and balsamic notes. In the mouth, full body, round and ample. Generous in fruit and warm in the palate, the wine reminds me of toasty oak, spices with lots of blackcurrant character. The finale is long and very consistent with the rest of the wine. Very good value
Community Reviewer reviewed this wine as follows:

On the nose Clancys Red shows dark plum, black forest fruits and chocolate. A robust and full-bodied wine, it shows delicious velvet fruit on the palate.

Community Reviewer reviewed this wine as follows:

Le nez du Clancys Red présente des arômes de prunes foncées, de fruits de la foret noire et de chocolat. Un vin robuste et charnu qui démontre des fruits veloutés en bouche.

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
