Reviews and Ratings

Joe Hache Prince Edward Count rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

I am a port lover and this wine is Churchill's dry red wine from the same grapes they make Port with. 40% Touriga Nacional 30% Touriga Franca 30% Tinta Roriz (just no fortification!).

The wine is a deep, saturated ruby color with a sense of flintiness and chocolate on the nose. What really grabs me is the taste combined of pepper, tobacco and cedar elements. I can just imagine this at the end of a great meal ... possibly with some fruitcake that will bring all of the characteristics of this wine together!

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
