Why do most of the wines I love have to be so pricey? This is topshelf Bordeaux from an amazing year. Mature and complex, with great finesse and length. Pair with veal. OTHER: The tannins are very fine, with rich fruitcake and smoky flavours. Red berry and black plums give a fruity character, along with delicious acidity. The wine is structured while still remaining very approachable. This was rated #29 on the 2012 Wine Enthusiast Top 100. Score - 94 (Roger Voss, Wine Enthusiast, April 2012).

Food pairings: baked chicken with roasted root vegetables, veal chops in red wine sauce, roasted venison.

From Saint Estèphe in Bordeaux, Château Tronquoy-Lalande (2009) is drinking well now with soft tannins and rich dried fruit, raisins, cherries and smokey flavours from oak aging. Drink now and for the new few years. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
