Reviews and Ratings

From the Saint-Émilion wine district in Bordeaux, Château Tertre Daugay (2008) is a deep ruby red in the glass. The wine blend is 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Franc for this Saint-Émilion Grand Cru Classé. Château Tertre Daugay is located toward the end of the Plateau de St Emilion, in the south-west of France. The name of the chateau originated from the watch tower that was built to keep the village safe. Tertre translates to knoll or mound, and Daugay translates to watch or look out. In 1909 the vineyards were divided into two parts Chateau Tertre Daugay and Chateau Daugay. In 2011 Terte Daugay was acquired by the Domaine Clarence Dillon, and was renamed Château Quintus. - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
