Château Roquefort Les Roches Blanches is a crisp, characterful Bordeaux Blanc crafted from organically grown Sauvignon Blanc grapes, offering a refreshingly pure expression of the grape at an outstanding everyday price. It is light-to-medium-bodied, bone dry, and low in alcohol at just 12.5%, with an inviting nose of fresh lemon verbena, white grapefruit, crushed limestone, and a cool breath of fresh-cut grass that gives it an appealing, almost electric lift. The palate is taut and focused, with a nervy, mineral-driven acidity and a clean, zippy finish that makes your mouth water for the next sip. Serve it well chilled and enjoy through 2026, as this is a wine built for freshness and immediate pleasure rather than long aging. Château Roquefort, situated in the Entre-Deux-Mers area of Bordeaux, has been committed to organic viticulture for decades, making it one of the earlier adopters of certified organic farming in the broader Bordeaux appellation. Pair it with a platter of freshly shucked oysters topped with a shallot mignonette, where the wine's stony minerality and citrus snap will act as a perfect seaside companion, or enjoy it alongside a bubbling cheese fondue with crusty bread, where its bright acidity will cut through the richness with effortless grace.

Sauvignon Blanc food pairings: oyster poor boy sammies, oysters Rockefeller, scampi-shrimp, cheese fondue.
