A terrific Bordeaux at a bargain price from an excellent vintage. Lots of mocha and toasty oak on the nose that gives way to fleshy black plums and cassis on the palate. Full-bodied, supple and ready to drink, though it will also hold for a few more years in your cellar. This is a blend of 90% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. Polished tannins. Pair with a juicy steak or hamburgers.

/ Chateau Mamin Graves Rouge food pairings: roast duck, roast beef.

Reviews and Ratings

The wine pleasantly surprises with a bouquet which beautifully combines hints of smoke and vanilla.
The palate is elegant. The mouth, which becomes powerful gradually, reveals a nice structure with well rounded and soft tannins which is a typical sign of a good extraction. The oak maturation imparts intense toasty notes, bringing out the best of the wine which is elegant, generous and well-structured.
