Reviews and Ratings

Vintages Wine Panel: This wine is a multi-award winner, including a Gold Medal at the 2009 Decanter World Wine Awards. A blend of Syrah, Grenache and Mourvèdre, this powerful wine exhibits aromas of red and black berries, violets and vanilla. Tannins are present, but only to balance the fruit. My note: A generous black-fruited wonder with luscious, full-bodied notes of blackberries and dark spices. Peppered black raspberries play across your palate just before you lean forward and ask for another top up. Terrific! OTHER: Full-bodied but supple, this red shows dried blackberry, plum and dark chocolate notes, flanked by herb and licorice aromas. Offers a chewy, smoky finish. Drink now through 2022. Score - 90 (Gillian Sciaretta, winespectator.com, Nov. 15, 2016). - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
