From Gayraud et Fils, Château Lamartine 2018 is a deep, dark and robust red wine blend of 90% Malbec and 10% Tannat. Meaty on the noise with wild herbs, black olive, ripe black fruit aromas , smoky with toasty oak spice intense and long on the palate balanced with food-friendly acidity. Tannins are structured and rich. Decant for two hours prior to pouring it with a well-marbled steak from the grill. Drink or hold.

Food pairings: venison tenderloin in croute, wild boar roast, lamb shanks in red wine and roasted root vegetables.
