A Gold Medal winner at the 2011 Concours Général Agricole in Paris. A pretty nose with violets in the vanguard of an impressive host of aromas, including (but not limited to) cassis, cherry, blueberry, vanilla, chocolate and woodsmoke. The palate shows the ripeness and intensity of 2009, with the oak harmonizing nicely. Well structured with ripe tannins and food-friendly balancing acidity. This will please through 2020, but will be delicious tonight, decanted. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, April 2013

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
