Reviews and Ratings

Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Powerful nose featuring intense notes of black cherry, blackberry, plum, and cinnamon topped off with light sweet smoke and a hint of rose petal. Bright acidity and round tannins with lasting grip. Palate takes the dark fruit and oak spice and adds cocoa. Velvety texture into the finish. An easy choice for beef roasts, steaks, and lamb chops.
From the Saint-Émilion, Bordeaux wine region, Château La Grâce Dieu 2014 is a Grand Cru 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc red blend with juicy black currant, blackberry, savoury herb and white pepper spice flavours on the palate. Balanced with firm fine tannins and can easily age in cellar for another five to 10 years. The estate is west of Saint-Émilion near Château Figeac. - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Rex Pickett, Sideways

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
