A terrific value for this Cru Bourgeois red wine! Classic Bordeaux in the glass at a fraction of the price. Previous vintages of this wine won gold in the prestigious Concours de Bordeaux competition. Loaded with wild red berry aromas, cedar forest and black plums with a touch of spice. Full-bodied and savoury. Perfect with filet mignon.

Food pairings: beef, marinated steaks, game with rosemary Portobello mushrooms.

Terrific value from the Médoc, Bordeaux wine region. Château La Gorce (2011) is full-bodied and savoury. This Bordeaux red wine blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon and 45% Merlot grapes was awarded silver at the Concours Vignerons Indépendants 2012. The wine was aged in oak barrel for 21 months before being bottled. - Community Wine Reviews
