From the Montagne-Saint-Émilion, Bordeaux wine region, Château Guillou 2016 is an excellent-value red Bordeaux blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc under $24. From winemaker and proprietor, Jean-Bernard Saby & Fils, Château Guillou is medium-bodied, rich and elegant with black currant, savoury herb, sous bois cedar and pepper spice flavours on the palate. Tannins are firm. Decant one hour prior to pouring with a well-marbled prime rib.

Food pairings: pepper steak, meat fondue, veal liver and onions.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
