Fairly smooth already and medium- to full-bodied with pleasant notes of cassis and smoke. This Bordeaux red wine blend leads with the Merlot grape, as do most Right Bank Bordeaux wines. The 2010 vintage was a strong one at all price points, yielding great gems like this one. Decant 1-2 hours and enjoy with rare filet mignon tonight.

Food pairings: osso buco, grilled steaks.

Brought to us by J.J. Mortier & Cie/Vign. G. Arpin, Proprietor and Viticulturalist, this bargain Bordeaux that still has the region's signature balance and style. Mostly Merlot grapes but also some Cabernet. Good acidity o the palate. Dark fruit and smoke on the finish. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
