Reviews and Ratings

Dan Trcka Wine Blogger rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

The 2013 Château des Charmes Estate Bottled Vidal Icewine has perfumed aromas of honey, honey dew melon, cantaloupe and hawthorn on both the nose and palate. It is a full bodied, sweet, fruity wine; with good acidity and a medium, honey finish. This is a food friendly (enjoy alongside cheese) and sipping wine; drink now and for the next 7+ years (>4.5 cm cork enclosure). My impression: BEAUTIFUL, 89 pts – recommended for its quality. Tasted in Jul/14.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
