Château de Nages Héritage is a sophisticated, artfully blended southern Rhône white combining Grenache Blanc, Roussanne, Clairette, and Viognier, matured for eight months in a thoughtful combination of oak barrels and concrete tanks that adds texture and complexity without overwhelming the wine's naturally expressive character. It is dry, medium-bodied, and beautifully composed, with an inviting nose of ripe white fig, jasmine, candied lemon peel, and a warm honeyed softness that gives way to a focused, vibrant palate with a distinctly saline, stony mineral quality on the finish. The texture is silky and generous, with a lively freshness that keeps every sip bright and appetizing despite the wine's considerable body and warmth. Serve it chilled and enjoy through 2028, as the blend's natural acidity and fine structure give it enough backbone to develop pleasingly over several years. Master winemaker Michel Gassier, one of the Costières de Nîmes appellation's most passionate and respected advocates, has spent decades championing this often overlooked southern Rhône region as a source of genuinely world-class white wines, and Château de Nages Héritage stands as one of his most compelling arguments. Pair it with a warm goat cheese and caramelized onion quiche, where the wine's honeyed fruit and saline mineral finish will contrast the creamy tanginess of the cheese with lovely balance, or serve it alongside a pan-fried lemon sole with a light herb butter sauce for an elegant and harmonious weeknight dinner.

Food pairings: goat cheese, grilled chicken, vegetable quiche, pan-fried lemon sole.
