Château Courac Cotes du Rhône-Villages 2017 is a bright and cheery Grenache, Syrah, Counoise and Mourvèdre red wine blend. An easy-to-enjoy Rhône red and easy on the pocket book as well under $20. Look for ripe black cherry, red berry, flinty, spicy flavours with a smoky finish. Nicely structured with fine-grained, velvety tannins. Drink now thru 2026.

Food pairings: slow-braised lamb shanks, veal cutlets, roast duck.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
