Natalie's Score: 92/100

Boutisse 2015 is a full-bodied and powerful red blend of 88% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Cabernet Franc. It is powerful on the palate, velvety with ripe black fruits, cinnamon, cloves, star anise and nutmeg cake spice flavours finishing long and elegant. But be further rewarded for your patience and hold in cellar for another five years.

Food pairings: lamb, grilled veal chops, pepper steak.

From Château Boutisse in the Saint-Émilion, Bordeaux wine region, Boutisse 2015 is a full-bodied and powerful red blend of 88% Merlot, 11% Cabernet Sauvignon and 1% Cabernet Franc. Château Boutisse is a powerful wine. On the palate the wine is velvety with ripe black fruits, cinnamon, cloves, star anise and nutmeg cake spice flavours finishing long and elegant. Decant two hours prior to pouring with a filet mignon or be rewarded for your patience and hold in cellar for another five years. - Community Wine Reviews

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
