Natalie's Score: 89/100

From the Blaye Cotes De Bordeaux wine region, Château Bourdieu No.1 2019 is a dry, medium-bodied red wine blend of 89% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Malbec. An excellent value Bordeaux at $23 with vibrant acidity and fresh, pure fruit flavours of dark cherry, blueberry, plum, vanilla and well-integrated oak spice long on the palate. Very nice done. Drink or hold.

Food pairings: wild mushroom stuffed pork chops with wild rice, grilled duck breasts, veal chops from the grill.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
