This robust, well-priced French red wine comes to us via Philip Grant, Propriétaire. The wine is mostly made from the Negrette grape and offers lip-smacking delicious flavours of dark fruit and cedar brush. Decant 1 hours and try it with a juicy steak tonight.

Food pairings: winter stew, rare cuts of meat, sausage cassoulet.

Reviews and Ratings

Wineboy rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

floral, berrries and spice intertwine on the nose. A measured amount of fruit along with spice. Tannins are evolving nicely and a hint of leather late on the palate.
From Fronton in France's Southwest wine region, Chateau Bellevue La Foret (2013) is a well-priced red from winemaker Philip Grant. The wine is mostly from the Negrette grape known for its dark fruit flavours, spiciness and tannins. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
