Chanson Père et Fils Burgundy A.O.P. Chardonnay from France is a pristine, unoaked expression of the variety, bright and light-bodied with an aromatic bouquet of ripe pear, white blossom, and a gentle waft of acacia honey underpinned by a streak of cool limestone minerality. Completely dry with a crisp, refreshing acidity and a delicate, finely honed finish, this is Chardonnay in its purest, most transparent form. Serve it well chilled and enjoy it over the next couple of years while its freshness is at its peak. Winemaker Jean-Pierre Confuron brings a masterful touch to the cellar, overseeing wines that express terroir with remarkable clarity and restraint. Founded in 1750 during the reign of Louis XV, Chanson Père et Fils is one of only six Burgundy producers still operating from the 18th century, a legacy that was dramatically revived after the Bollinger family acquired the house in 1999 and restored it to its rightful place among Burgundy's finest.

Chardonnay food pairings: Steamed mussels in white wine and shallots, roast chicken with a light herb cream sauce, linguine with lemon zest and baby spinach.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
