Full-bodied palate with big black fruit and smoke notes. Enjoy with beef kebabs or gourmet burgers. Seductive dark spice and wild violets on the finish. Plush, generous and layered, this is a lovely blend of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes that would be terrific with meat lovers' pizza.

Cabernet Franc Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: beef kebabs, gourmet burgers, pizza.

Reviews and Ratings

Produced by the Harvey Family, the Chalk Hill winery is called Wits' End in North America so as not to be confused with the Chalk Hill winery from Sonoma, California. This robust Australian wine is a blend of Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes for the 2012 vintage. Given it's called The Procrastinator, I'm surprised they ever got it bottled. - Community Wine Reviews
