Produced by the Wagner Family of Wines, Caymus 2020 Zinfandel was a favorite of late Caymus co-founder Charlie Wagner Sr. And while Caymus is known for its Cabernet Sauvignon, this Zin is big, bold and full-bodied with crushed red berry, strawberry, underbrush, smoky herbs, dark spices and vanilla flavours vibrant, generous and long on the palate. Pour with burgers and ribs from the grill or hard cheeses.

Zinfandel food pairings: venison stew, venison sausage and wild mushroom sauce, spicy spatchcock partridge.

Reviews and Ratings

Produced by the Wagner Family of Wines, Caymus 2020 Zinfandel was a favorite of late Caymus co-founder Charlie Wagner Sr. Deep, dark ruby in the glass, it is dry, medium-plus-bodied and fragrant with plum compote, milk chocolate, boysenberry, cold black tea, pepper spice and flinty mineral notes generous on the palate. Enjoy it with gourmet burgers from the grill or BBQ ribs. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
