Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 84/100 with the following review:

Pale ruby, light body and fresh acidity with notes of red fruit, beets, earthiness, wet cedar. Grippy tannins take hold of the palate with characteristics of sour cherry, tobacco leaf, menthol, vanilla. Good value for a wine already 6 years old.
Pair with game meat, roasted lamb shank, other red meats. Needs food and suggest decanting.
Tasted: November 8, 2014
