Reviews and Ratings

Heather Wall - CS; WSET Advanced rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Brilliant straw colour with apricot, apple, lychee aromas. Palate added pleasant stony minerality. Luscious medium finish of vanilla and apple. Love this wine! Perfect time to bring out of storage. It was enjoyed by all! Nicely chilled. Soft cheeses and fruit platter pairing. But would be very nice with seafood. Lobster season!!
Made from the aromatic Chardonnay Musqué grape, this wine is a refreshing alternative to conventional Chardonnay. Unoaked, it retains pure and lively aromas and flavours of field flowers, pear drop, limeade, jasmine and sweet apples. Medium bodied and richly flavoured, it’s balanced by a gentle crispness and sports a lengthy finish. Source: Vintages Wine Panel

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a feisty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
