Cave de Ribeauvillé 2018 Pinot Gris is produced from sustainably grown grapes from the Alsace wine region. The wine spent three months on its lees and one year in bottle prior to its release. On the palate, the wine is rich and smoky with dried pear, apple, honeyed quince, Meyer lemon and spicy flavours. Delicious now. Chill and enjoy with a pork tenderloin en croute with a pear butter sauce. This vintage was awarded Gold at the 2020 AWC Vienna International Wine Challenge.

Pinot Gris food pairings: baked glazed ham, roast turkey, pork tenderloin.

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
