A gorgeous, full-bodied red with incredible balance and structure. Powerful without being a fruit bomb. Black cherry liqueur, dried herbs and some smoke on a long finish.

Food pairings: game burgers, beef steak, rack of lamb.

Reviews and Ratings

Cave de Rasteau has produced another full-bodied and smooth Côtes Du Rhône Villages red. Deep-ruby in colour, the 2010 vintage has so much ripe blackberry, ripe black fruit and garrigue herbs are prominent as is savoury spice. Complex, intense delivering a smooth mouthful of fruit. What more could you ask for? Oh yes! Grilled hanger steak and frites. - Community Wine Reviews

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
