Reviews and Ratings

Louise Wilson - ISG Sommelier rated this wine as 95/100 with the following review:

Heady aromatics of rose, mandarin orange and honeycomb lead to a rich palate of lychee, apricot and pineapple. Notes of clove and ginger add complexity. Off dry with a generous length. Pair with honeyed prawns and polenta. Enjoy now through 2019. Tasted March 2014.
Pretty floral notes of rose petals waft on a perfumed and spicy nose. White peach, apple, and fresh lychee round out the nose. The palate has a nice intensity with good replays. A very attractive Gewurz that is sure to impress and delight your guests. Source: Vintages Wine Panel, March 2013

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
