Surprisingly accessible now, this robust Brunello is coming together nicely, without overly aggressive tannins. Aromas of violets and black currant. Pair with wild boar and ruffled risotto.

Brunello Di Montalcino food pairings: spaghetti Bolognese, meat-filled pasta with rich tomato sauce, vegetarian lasagne.

Reviews and Ratings

Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Well-round, balanced, rich and smooth. Enticing notes of stewed rhubarb, cherry, allspice, anise, mocha, leather and cacao nibs fill the senses. A fine pair with beef stews and braises. Tasted July 2017 by @sommsosa | bespoketasting.ca
