Ultra-dry with a tannic grip yet there's also mouth-watering acidity. Dark cherry and smoke. Needs cellar time.

Chianti Classico food pairings: cheese pizza, rich pasta and tomato sauce, roast leg of veal.

Reviews and Ratings

Castello di Bossi, C. Berardenga (2013) is a dry Chianti Classico with solid tannins and mouth-watering acidity from the Tuscany wine region. The Sangiovese based wine is ripe red cherries, smoke and oaky right now, but give this wine another three years or so to come together. Lots of potential here and great value. Serve with rich, full-bodied pasta dishes with lots of meat and tomato sauce. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
