Reviews and Ratings

Alex & Priya - Certified Sommelier rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Priya: Has the deep, rich scent of honey but there's very little sweetness in this glass. Super dry - one of those wines where the aroma is totally deceiving. Lychee, super-ripe mango - none of that is detectable when you taste it. Sneaky lil' minx! A great chardonnay - this from a girl who's not a fan of the grape. 90 pts

Alex: This is a monster, loaded with ripe pineapple, yellow apples, buttered brioche, kumquat and vanilla. A layered, full-throttle palate that is just sensual, creamy luxurious decadence. More in the new world style, and it has minerality but is a bit over-the-top in style for me. However, the quality is undeniable. 90 pts

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
