Chalky dry and full-bodied with mocha-dark chocolate from the oak aging on the nose. Full-bodied and smooth with layers of dark fruit. Great price.

The blend here is Tinta Roriz (Tempranillo) along with the great Port grapes Touriga Franca and Touriga Nacional. Rich aromas of raspberry, plum, cedar, dark chocolate and vanilla are joined by a touch of minerality. In the mouth the wine is round with a medium-full body, fine tannins and delicious fulfillment of the promise of the nose. Source: Vintages Wine Catalogue.

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
