Pleasant Italian red wine with loads of acidity that cries out for tomato or spicy sauces. Aromas of tart red berries. Medium-bodied and smooth.

Chianti food pairings: spaghetti and meatballs, vegetarian lasagne, cheesy pizza.

Reviews and Ratings

Castellani Riserva (2014) is a great value Chianti from the Tuscany wine region. The medium-bodied Chianti is a red wine blend of 85% Sangiovese, 10% Canaiolo and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. Youthful with great acidity, the wine is looking for a spicy tomato and meat sauce dish. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
