Sour cherry and red licorice and blueberry on this unusual Barolo from northern Italian. Tannins are starting to come under control but need time. Pair with truffle-accented risotto and wild boar.

In a word - YUM! Red berries, earthy, strawberry Twizzlers and polishing...
Sometimes, you just can't put your finger on it...Enjoy this Barolo over the next 10 years. Great gift wine for the collector in your life, or your boss! Classic Barolo pairings: Local Piedmont foods such as braised beef in Barolo; grilled filet steak; roast goose; feathered game; truffles;risotto with porcini; powerful Italian cheeses Castelmagno or Gorgonzola.
Tasted: February 2016
Produced by Alessandro e Gian Natale Fantino, the 2010 vintage of the Barolo Cascina Dardi Bussia features aromas of dark spice, violets and wild dark berries. Smooth tannins and great finished in this Nebbiolo grape based red wine. - Community Wine Reviews
