Very succulent and juicy with rich layers of fleshy ripe plum and dark berries with a lick of spice. Such a great value. Pair with grilled meats.

Carmenère food pairings: meaty stews, vegetarian lasagne, slow-braised lamb shanks in red wine sauce.

Reviews and Ratings

Casas del Bosque Reserva 2016 is amazing value Carmenère under $20 from the Rapel Valley in Chile. The wine was aged in oak barrel for 10 month and is smoky, toasty with dark cherries and sweet plum flavours on the palate. Drink now and for the next couple of years. Pair with grilled pork chops.- Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
