Low yields on this Casas del Bosque 2017 Gran Reserva makes this full-bodied Cabernet Sauvignon rich and lush with ripe rich black fruit, currant, savoury spice, and dark chocolate flavours on the palate, finishing smoky, savoury and satisfying. Enjoy now and pair with grilled sirloin steaks.

Cabernet Sauvignon food pairings: grilled herbed steaks done rare, Porchetta, bison burgers.

Reviews and Ratings

Casas del Bosque 2017 Gran Reserva is a rich, deep, dark and full-bodied Chilean Cabernet Sauvignon in the Maipo Valley cropped for low yields at 3.6 tons per acre. Deep purple in the glass, the nose is ripe rich black fruit, cassis smoky with savoury herb aromas, meaty with a vanilla and dark chocolate finish on the palate. Decant for one hour prior to pouring with a grilled hanger steak or hold in cellar for three years. - Community Wine Reviews
