Reviews and Ratings

Jisun Hahn CAPS Certified Somm rated this wine as 87/100 with the following review:

The Gamay Noir grape does very well in cooler wine regions, hence why both Prince Edward County and Niagara have been known to produce elegant, approachable versions. This one is a great example of the easy drinking Gamay. Deep purple in colour, both blackberry and tart cranberry wrestle on the palate along with a hint of spice and violets. A great option to pair with pizza night or with roast game. Enjoy now.
Linda Mertes WSET 2 rated this wine as 85/100 with the following review:

A Gamay (think Beaujolais) from Prince Edward County that presents opaque ruby in the glass with soft pink on the rim. Bright acidic red berry fruit, with medium tannins and hints of mint. There is some heat and a candied fruit taste on the finish. Pair with tomato based sauces or medium cheeses.
From Prince Edward County, Casa-Dea Gamay 2017 is well-priced at $17. This is an easy-to-love Gamay with bright and fresh red berry and peppery flavours on the palate and judicious use of oak. Very approachable now and because it is a lighter red with good acidity for food, it pairs well with grilled salmon steaks to grilled pepper steak. - Community Wine Reviews

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
