Reviews and Ratings

Mark Britton rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

A great chianti Classico at only $18.95. Cherry, blueberry, pomegranate, and floral notes on the nose and palate. Rich acid. Great with tomato based pizza or pasta. It's only a 2010 though so this could easily sit for 2-3 more years..
Fascinating aromas of black and red cherries, cinnamon, clove, cured meat, lavender and sandalwood greet the nose. It’s dry, medium bodied and roundly textured with bright, generous fruit flavours along with spicy notes, dusty tannins and laser-focused acidity. Structured and vibrant with good length, this is very approach-able now but could improve with 2-5 years in the cellar. Source: Vintages Wine Panel

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
