Full-bodied Zin for those who like rich dark chocolate and fleshy black fruit aromas and flavours without the big tannins. This baby is smooth and supple. Produced by Hope Family Wines, this LOT 6 Californian Zinfandel is not vintage-dated. Espresso and mocha on the palate from lavish oak aging. Finishes with some spice. Pair it with sweet baby back ribs.

Zinfandel food pairings: roast pork, tangy ribs.

Reviews and Ratings

Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Ripe berry fruit and heat galore! Jammy raspberry and blackberries with loads of baking spice (cinnamon, nutmeg, anise) on the nose and palate. Smooth tannins (really no tannins), luscious mouthfeel, medium juicy berry finish. Pair with mesquite BBQ.
Californian winemaker Austin Hope produces this non-vintage Zinfandel by blending several vintages together, sometime even three. This robust red will pair well with hamburgers. - Community Wine Reviews

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
