Reviews and Ratings

L.J. Palmer rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:

Deep ruby colour, full bodied, pronounced nose, dry, medium acidity and tannin. Nice earthiness in the aroma, with baking spice and aromas of blackberry, blueberry and darker fruits. Tastes of vanilla, baking spice, cherry, and blueberry. Aged in French oak barrels, 30% new and 70% neutral. Well worth seeking out.
Daniel O'Keefe rated this wine as 90/100 with the following review:

Ripe cherry and raspberry jam dominate the nose. Soft tannins and bright acidity. The oak treatment, 8.5 months in French oak, 31% new, is mild and integrated in this fruit-driven Pinot. There's a touch of wood and some cocoa while the fruits keep shining brightly amidst a whiff of forest floor. Unmistakably Californian in ripeness, but with more grace than most. Ideal for chicken, pork, salmon, and tuna dishes.
