From Cakebread Cellars, the 2016 Sauvignon Blanc has a smattering of Semillon added to it. This is a medium-body, zesty and dry white wine with grapefruit and stone fruit flavours finishing with a touch of smoke. Pair with grilled halibut steaks.

Sauvignon Blanc food pairings: smoked salmon, smoked whitefish, pan-fried pan fish.

Reviews and Ratings

From Cakebread Cellars, the 2016 Sauvignon Blanc has a smattering of Semillon added to it. On the nose look for citrus zest and white grapefruit aromas. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied, dry with more grapefruit and stone fruit flavours finishing with a bit smoke and a zesty acidity on the palate. Pair with grilled Mahi Mahi or halibut steaks. - Community Wine Reviews
