Sweet chocolate, mocha, coffee and espresso from oak aging on the nose of this robust Zin. Juicy and full-bodied with smooth, supple layers of fleshy black plums. This wine was aged in American oak barrels. Pair with a pepper steak.

Zinfandel food pairings: grilled duck breast, aged cheddar, hearty meat meals, spaghetti Bolognaise.

Reviews and Ratings

Wineboy rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

An American Zin for those whose tastes align with American palates. A juicy, jammy Zin with nice soft acids and a sweet core.
Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 89/100 with the following review:

Ripe stewed plum and berry preserve galore. A big fruit-forward Zin with the alcohol well masked. I find the oak muted (a good thing) against mild tannins and a balanced acidity. A great BBQ wine. Tasted April 2017 @sommsosa | Bespoketastings.ca
California's Ca' Momi (2015) Zinfandel is a juicy, soft, delicious 100% Zinfandel with layers of blueberry, mulberry and spice. Founded in 2006 by Valentina Guolo-Migotto, Dario De Conti and Stefano Migotto, Ca' Momi crafts wines to pair with great dinners and long conversations at the dinner table. Try it with pepper steak, meat-stuffed Portobellos, or grilled pork chops. - Community Wine Reviews
