Natalie's Score: 89/100

This robust Spanish red wine is a blend of 90% Tempranillo and 10% Graciano from the heart of the Rioja region. Lots of juicy, mouth-watering aromas wild blackberry and blackcurrant. Terrific value for this classic red wine that has the depth and richness of cherry liqueur flavours, but is bone dry. Full-bodied and tasty with a velvet texture. Pair with rack of lamb. Yes please!

Food pairings: smoked sausages, lamb stew, venison steak.

Burgo Viejo Crianza (2013) is a robust Spanish red from the Rioja wine region. Wine blend for this juicy, plummy, savoury and spicy red is 90% Tempranillo and 10% Graciano. Pair with a slow-turned roast of pork. - Community Wine Reviews
