Reviews and Ratings

Sylvain Segard rated this wine as 93/100 with the following review:

This Islay single malt greets your nose with the sweetness of honey followed with earthy tones of salted caramel and nuts. (No peat here.) The palate is well balanced and smooth and tastes of nuts, figs and a tingle of baking spices, sherry, and oak on the finish. Score 93. (S.Segard, reviewed on October 14, 2017)
Bunnahabhain's 18-year-old single malt has been reintroduced non-chillfiltered. The Scotch Whisky is not heavily peated. Natural spring waters from the Margadale River are the basic ingredient and source in this whisky. Sea-facing warehouses provide the perfect environment to mature the spirit in cask giving it a unique brininess. The whisky is rich, with salty nuts, marmalade and cake spice on the palate. - Community Wine Reviews

Red, White & Drunk all over by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean writes about wine with a sensuous obsession... and often laugh-out-loud funny... Terrific.

Ms. MacLean is the disarming Everywoman. She loves wine, loves drinking ... ultimately, it's a winning formula.

Unquenchable by Natalie MacLean

Natalie MacLean is a new force in the wine writing world ‐ a fiesty North American answer to Hugh Johnson and Jancis Robinson. She can write beautifully about wine.

The Financial Times of London

There are very few people in the wine world who "get it" and Natalie is one of those who brings more fun to a buttoned-up and stodgy game.
